Class Dojo

Hello All!
We are starting a new type of classroom management. This will be an addition to the many other forms of management used in the classroom. We already use our clip chart, class points, and group points. Now we will be adding this fun and interactive webpage as a form of management as well. It is called the "Class Dojo" and the kids are very excited to put it into use. The way it works is that each student has an avatar on the sight and throughout the day when I catch the students behaving/misbehaving I can give or take away points on the webpage. The kids will each have their own log-in so they can access their points from any computer. There is a link on the side of our blog for you to access and log in with your child. You can use this tool as well to see how the kids are doing during the day.
I'm sure there will be days when I don't find as much time to give or take away points. But it will still give the students another way to get feedback on classroom behavior. For every point they gain or lose they get a reason behind it, so they can understand why they lost or gained points.
I hope you can all find time to check it out. Hopefully this will be a success in helping improve classroom behavior! =)

Mrs. Allison
